Protective facade grid: what is

January 16, 2025

Protecting the facades of buildings under construction with special nets is a fairly common practice of most construction projects of our cities, since builders have long realized the need to use it. It prevents the fall of garbage, building materials, tools from construction forests and workplace when performing facade and painting work, during sandblasting the structural elements of buildings, gives an unfinished building a neat and somewhat aesthetic appearance. Finally, the protective facade grid, which is attached both in the horizontal and vertical direction, is capable of playing the role of a temporary fence during installation on sports facilities.

This protection tool is made of 100 % high-pressure polyethylene, so such a mesh can be used many times. This is a stretching, but very durable material that is conveniently cut, without requiring additional cutting out of the cut. Moreover, along the entire perimeter, as well as in the middle, the facade mesh is supplied with special loops that facilitate its fastening.

Separately, it should be noted that the facade grid is extremely durable: it does not rot, through it freely circulates the air, it is reliably protected from the effects of ultraviolet radiation. In addition, this material does not stretch over time and does not bloom, since the mesh is made in a special way of weaving.

In addition to the construction sphere, the facade mesh is also used in agriculture: with its help, trees, shrubs and berry bushes are fenced from birds. It is also great to reduce the volume of solar radiation falling on plants or greenhouses. Finally, the protective grid will protect planting from heavy rain or hail, and some farms adapt the facade mesh for drying mushrooms, vegetables and ripened berries.
