Masonic laying is a masonry of walls, a foundation made of stone or brick, beams, slag concrete. To achieve its strength, stability and high quality, accuracy in work, the use of a correctly selected tool, the implementation of all designed construction parameters.
When forming a stone or concrete foundation in the soil, it is necessary to prepare the base for it – to rub out, get rid of excess moisture (filling sand, crushed stone or small stones). To install the foundation, a cement or lime solution (or their mixture) is kneaded, stones are freed from adhering garbage and selected in size. The first row of base is densely laid out by the largest stones, covered with sand and crushed stone and poured with liquid solution (“masonry under the bay”).
Work in a bulk, unstable soil requires the installation of slopes. Then the neighboring rows are fastened with ligation of the seams, which increases the strength and thoroughness of the structure. It is necessary, observing the technology of work, to conduct even, direct rows of lamp masonry.
Pillars of foundations (under the stove, pillar or partition) are also made using the dressing of seams in the external and internal rows – in order to avoid their destruction.
These types of work are appropriate to perform two masons. At the end of laying, quality control is carried out – the execution of dressings is checked inside the masonry just made (by piercing it), the degree of filling with a solution of spaces between the stones and, accordingly, the stability of the entire foundation.
