Technical doors belong to a separate class of multifunctional doors and are installed in various utility rooms, in institutions, offices, shopping centers. The requirements for such doors include ensuring a high level of safety, so they are often made by metal. The task of such doors is to close extraneous access to the technical room. Since often in the premises there are expensive equipment or adjustment systems, for example, water supply, the technical doors should be equipped with good locking devices that exclude the opening of the door. Another requirement is durability – ideally, the door is set once and for all and must meet the set characteristics of the entire period of its service. However, the technical door can be temporary – they stand at various construction sites and are cleaned with the end of the construction. Since the function of these doors is to provide free access to staff and at the same time prevent outsiders to premises, in some cases, such a temporary door is a lattice structure. Tighting technical doors is most often not required – fire doors are the exception. In most cases, the technical door is a single -winged design consisting of a steel door frame and a metal door leaf fixed on the hinges and equipped with a lock. The requirements for the decoration are minimal, but more and more often there are proposals, including the fireproof coating of the canvas and the frame, as well as moisture resistant and vandal -resistant coatings. Such doors can often be found in modern shopping centers and other public places. In some cases, the technical door is performed using other materials – such doors are most often at the box office and have a special glass window.
