An interesting decoration of your interior, and in particular the kitchen, can be a special mosaic. Increasingly, it can be found in the form of a kitchen apron, and sometimes even in the floor decoration. But still its first purpose is the decor of the walls. It is usually sold in small plates, which is based on a special mesh, on top of which the mosaic is just attached. It happens both of various sizes and a completely diverse texture and color. You can choose it for absolutely any interior. Well, now a little information about how to lay it.
The first thing to do is to align the walls to a perfect state. This can be done using plaster or if you already have very uneven walls, then drywall. Next, you should definitely apply a primer mixture for the best adhesion to the wall.
Before laying a mosaic, you should purchase a special glue with which it will be attached to the wall. What is he represented? This is a fairly thick mass, the color of which is most often white. Subsequently, it will not be visible through the mosaic canvas at all. Using a smooth spatula, apply this special glue on the wall, and distribute it evenly along the wall with a special spatula with small cloves. Thus, a small part of the wall is covered so that the glue does not have time to dry. Next, put the mosaic plate, and the next only after a short distance, which can be calculated by looking at the gap between the two mosaics on the plate. Carefully knock on the newly glued plates so that they grasp the wall better. To remove the paper layer from the front side, you should take a sponge, then wet it in the water and squeeze it well, and then just spend slightly along it.
All seams between the plates and the mosaics themselves should definitely be wiped with a special mixture. Naturally, you will have its excess. They should be carefully removed with the same wet sponge.
