The peculiarity of this type of wallpaper is that vinyl wallpapers from strong getting wet are noticeably stretched in width. For this reason, it is impossible to apply glue to them too abundantly on them. Also, after their smearing with glue, it is not recommended to leave them to lie for a long time.
Playing work should be carried out carefully, do not stretch wallpaper, but rather, press against the wall. The second reason: vinyl wallpapers are quite thick, so the gluing overflow disappears. Playing should occur.
In the absence of a drawing, an overlap 1-1 is allowed.5 centimeters, after which both layers are cut through. When the trimming is removed, the joint of the paintings, as a rule, becomes impeccable. But if there is a drawing on the canvases, you will need fitting and docking the edges.
Work on the pasting of vinyl wallpaper:
Glue is prepared as described in the instructions. Glue should be intended specifically for vinyl wallpaper.
The canvas is cut to the required length, just in case, from 5 to 8 centimeters is added.
You need to start glue the wallpaper from the closest to the windows of the corners. With the help of a plumb line, the width of the canvas from the corner is marked. The first canvas is glued along this line.
Before starting the pasting of vinyl wallpaper, a thorough priming of walls for vinyl wallpaper is necessary.
The canvas is thoroughly smeared without spaces, but not densely. Then the canvas folds in half for 7-10 minutes. Then straightens and is glued to the wall without stretching.
Using a clean rag or hard brush, the canvas is crushed to the wall.
The pasting of vinyl wallpaper must be performed at a temperature not exceeding 23 degrees. Drafts are not allowed, they are terrible of vinyl wallpaper even more than paper wallpaper. Drying of wallpaper must be done gradually.
